York County Sheriff Candidate Pellerin Quits Race, Plans Different Course

Brian Pellerin has withdrawn from the 2026 York County sheriff's race, saying the difficult decision means pursuing a different path.

Brian Pellerin withdrew from the 2026 race for York County sheriff, WMTW reported on September 24, 2026. Pellerin had been running for the sheriff's seat before dropping out. He said the decision to step away was not an easy one, adding that he plans to follow a different course. Pellerin did not detail what he intends to pursue instead.
