Federal Funds Aim To Keep 11 Rural Maine Hospitals Open
The $30 million from HHS is intended to keep 11 rural Maine hospitals in operation.
Eleven rural hospitals in Maine are receiving a combined $30 million in federal funding, NEWS CENTER Maine reported. The money comes from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and is intended to help the hospitals remain in operation. The report did not name which hospitals are receiving funds or say how the $30 million will be divided among them.
