A grocery project intended to help revitalize Lewiston has received funding for a community-run store, NEWS CENTER Maine reported. Plans for the site call for a cafe, commercial kitchens and dedicated space for local food entrepreneurs, in addition to its grocery offerings. The project combines retail grocery space with support for local food businesses in Lewiston. NEWS CENTER Maine did not report how much funding the project received or when the store might open.
