A multifamily home in Bangor's Fairmount neighborhood was the city's priciest residential sale during the week of Aug. 23, according to the Bangor Daily News.

Eleven residential properties changed hands in Bangor from Aug. 23 to Aug. 29, the newspaper reported. That followed a slowdown in sales in early August, with activity picking up later in the month.

The newspaper said it compiled the list of Bangor residential sales using state transfer tax documents, which are posted publicly online.

The report is part of the Bangor Daily News' ongoing coverage of Maine's housing market and the policies shaping it.
