Cooper Flagg, a Maine native and rookie forward for the Dallas Mavericks, revealed his first signature logo on October 8, 2026, during a New Balance promotional stop at the NBA's Macao retail store. The design pairs his initials with cutouts shaped like pine trees, a nod to his home state. Flagg said the look "connects to my name, but also to my roots," according to a statement New Balance released. Flagg, 19, was named 2025-26 NBA Rookie of the Year, having averaged 21.0 points a game and placed among the top five rookies in rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. He also set rookie-season marks by becoming the youngest NBA player to hit 35, 40, 45 and 50 points in a single game. New Balance struck its endorsement agreement with Flagg back in August 2024, ahead of his lone season at Duke University, where he helped the Blue Devils reach the Final Four. Dallas made him the top selection of the 2025 draft. He traveled to Macao for the NBA China Games, where the Mavericks have two preseason matchups set against the Houston Rockets, according to WMTW.
