Kittery voters will decide a three-way Town Council race and an uncontested School Committee race on Nov. 3, along with state and York County contests, the Portland Press Herald reported.

Incumbent council members H. Scott Mason and Megan Greenwood are both seeking second terms for two seats on the seven-member council. Greenwood's first term was partial, filling the seat of former councilor Cameron Hamm, who stepped down in 2025. They face William Peirce, a fellow Housing Committee member who lost a council bid in 2025.

First-time candidates Edie Davis Quinn and Carol James are running unopposed for two three-year School Committee seats.

In House District 150, Democrat Alexandros Orestis, a member of the Eliot Select Board, faces Republican Mark Zimmer. In District 151, Republican Suzanne Johnson faces Democrat Kristi Matheison, who is seeking a fourth term. Senate District 35 pits Democrat Michele Meyer against Republican Julie Rakic.

Countywide, Democratic incumbent Sheriff William King faces Republican David Corbett. Brian Pellerin withdrew in September to become police chief in Wells, but his name remains on ballots that had already been printed.

Voters will also decide whether to eliminate the elected county treasurer post, which would instead be filled by appointment. Bobby Mills is the only candidate for the job.

In-person voting runs from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kittery Community Center. Absentee ballot requests are due Oct. 29.
