MaineHealth nurses are urging the hospital system to cut its contract with Palantir Technologies, an artificial intelligence software company, according to WMTW. The nurses allege Palantir has provided information to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and say MaineHealth should not continue doing business with the company as a result. Their demand centers on concerns about how information handled by the AI vendor could be used by federal immigration authorities.
