Two Maine Providers Resume Medicaid Payments After Lapse
Planned Parenthood and Maine Family Planning have resumed collecting Medicaid payments following a yearlong gap in federal funding.
Planned Parenthood and Maine Family Planning are once again receiving Medicaid payments, according to NEWS CENTER Maine. The two providers had gone without federal funding for more than a year before the payments resumed. NEWS CENTER Maine's report did not say what prompted the change or give an exact date for when the payments restarted. Both organizations provide reproductive health services in Maine.
