VP JD Vance Visits Brewer Defense Firm Compotech

Vice President JD Vance visited Compotech, a defense technology company in Brewer, and delivered remarks during the stop, WMTW reported. Compotech does contracting work for the federal government and the U.S. military. The stop marked Vance's second visit to Maine since May 2026. He had previously spoken in May 2026 at Bangor International Airport, where he discussed the White House's efforts to combat fraud.
