Maine Credit Union League Aims to Raise $100,000 in October

The money would go to food banks, pantries and local programs, including the Good Shepherd Food Bank.

A campaign by the Maine Credit Union League has set a target of $100,000 for October 2026, NEWS CENTER Maine reported on Oct. 9. The goal is to fight hunger in Maine.

Donations will be directed to food banks, pantries and local programs, according to the station's video report. The Good Shepherd Food Bank was named among the beneficiaries.

The report described the $100,000 figure as the amount the league is aiming for during the month and gave no total raised to date.
