Perry's Rhubarb Festival Debuts 'Rhubarb Is Sexy' Fashion Show
The June 6 event at Kendall Farm adds a Rhubarb Garb Fashion Show to its stalk-eating contest and craft vendors.
The fifth annual Rhubarb Festival will run from noon to 6 p.m. on June 6 at Kendall Farm in Perry, part of Maine's Way Downeast region, according to the Bangor Daily News. The 2026 festival poster features artwork chosen from entries by Calais Middle/High School students, with prizes awarded to the top three student artists.
The event will offer face painting, an obstacle course, a rhubarb art activity, raffle prizes and the traditional stalk-eating contest. Returning offerings include mocktails paired with rhubarb-topped charcuterie boards, live music, demonstrations and food and craft vendors.
Organizers have added a Rhubarb Garb Fashion Show for 2026, inviting attendees to wear rhubarb-inspired outfits for a chance to win prizes. Volunteer bakers are being sought to contribute dishes for the festival's tasting table.
On June 7, Down East Hospice Volunteers will hold its 35th annual Cobscook Bay Run/Walk in Pembroke.
