Eight residential properties in Bangor were sold during the week of June 7, 2026, at prices ranging from a nominal $0 transfer to $499,000, according to state transfer tax documents cited by the Bangor Daily News. The average price among the eight sales was slightly more than $264,000, below the roughly $315,000 average for a Bangor home sale in May 2026, based on Redfin figures reported by the newspaper.
The priciest transaction was a unit at 21 Primrose Place, which Susan Oliver purchased from Mark Szewczyk for $499,000 on June 12, 2026. That same day, Kayli Igoe paid $390,000 for a French Street property owned by Joanna Williams, and Tyler Oversmith paid $280,000 for a Cottage Street home sold by Running Brook REI LLC. Skyler Hanshaw paid $275,000 for a Maple Street property on June 10, 2026. Janice Archer and Andrew Bates each paid $260,000 for separate properties, on Grove Street and Falvey Street respectively, on June 9 and June 8, 2026. Tanya Vidas paid $150,000 for a Thornton Road property sold by the estate of Frederick Sawtelle on June 8, 2026, and a Parkview Avenue property changed hands for $0 the same day.
