The owners of Orchard Ridge Farm in Gorham are selling the property, WGME reported.
In a social media post, the owners said they no longer have the "bandwidth" to keep the farm running, and they pointed to a fire in January 2026 that destroyed a family home on the property. They described the decision as a difficult one and said they hope the next owners make full use of the land.
Owner Erica Gottshalk said she would like a buyer to preserve the farm's community role. "I think it's ready for someone else to continue pushing it in the right direction," she said, adding that the property has significant potential.
WGME did not report a listing price or a timeline for the sale.
